The very first step once you've downloaded this zip archive is to
extract everything into its own folder. For Windows, I reccomend WinRAR

To install the tune for your car, you must first run the "RSA Delete"
to unlock your DME (unless it's an MS45, GKE191, or GKE211).

***Note that if there is no tune available for your car - only an RSA Delete
- do NOT install the RSA delete by itself. Your car will not be able to
start unless you flash back to stock.***

Make sure the ignition is on (but engine not running) and that no other
BMW programs are running (INPA, etc).

If you've followed the instructions at https://www.bimmerlabs.com/help,
just double click on the *.bat file to start the flash process.

Once the "RSA Delete" is installed, you can install the tune file
through the same process (*.bat file).

At the end of the flash process, you should see a "Programming OK"
message in the batch window. If you see an error, most likely it's
due to your setup or your cable. Check your COM port, the cable
connection, and make sure your ignition is on and no BMW software
is running in the background. It helps to test first in INPA to
see if it will talk to the DME (reading error codes etc).

Normally, the flash doesn't take long enough to worry about your
battery. However, it is reccomended to hook it up to a charger
during the process.

The most dangerous part of the flash is the RSA delete, since it must
alter the boot code. If power is lost during this step, it will be
difficult or impossible to recover.

However, for the tune portion (and any further tune flashes) a charger
is uneccesary. Normally a tune flash takes less than 1 minute, and if
power was lost for some reason, nothing would happen. You would just
need to restart the flash process again.
